The ski resort of El Tarter is located in the Grandvalira ski area. El Tarter has the mundane nature as we know this from the famous Austrian top resorts. El Tarter is a bustling ski resort with excellent facilities. Luxury hotels, great nightlife and amazing winter sports opportunities. El Tarter is the second highest ski resort of Andorra and therefore has very good snow conditions and many hours of sunshine. Beside the large ski and snowboard possibilities there is a 20 kilometer long cross country trail.

Grandvillara includes four elongated valleys. It is the largest ski area in Andorra with many picturesque ski resorts. There are about 200 kilometers of ski runs and 35 kilometers of cross country trails. Grandvillara excels in beauty and is very enjoyable to just be in these magnificent surroundings and take advantage of the fantastic climate. The area is particularly suitable for beginners and average skiers.
