The ski resort Grau is located in the Grandvalira ski area in the Andorran Pyrenees. Grau is also known as Grau Roig. It is situated right in the heart of Grandvalira. Because of its central location Grau is actually the best base of the whole area. Grau is not really a village it is more a base towards the slopes of Soldeu and Pas de la Casa.

Grandvillara includes four elongated valleys. It is the largest ski area in Andorra with many picturesque ski resorts. There are about 200 kilometers of ski runs and 35 kilometers of cross country trails. Grandvillara excels in beauty and is very enjoyable to just be in these magnificent surroundings and take advantage of the fantastic climate. The area is particularly suitable for beginners and average skiers.

Grau is not much more than a car park with a lift station. There is 1 hotel, but there is no nightlife.
