The ski resort Roig is located in the Grandvalira ski area in the Andorran Pyrenees. Roig is also known as Grau Roig. It is situated in the heart of Grandvalira. Because of its central location, Grau Roig is actually the best base of the whole area. Grau Roig, however, can hardly be described as a village, it is more a base towards the slopes of Soldeu and Pas de la Casa.

Grandvillara includes four elongated valleys. It is the largest ski area in Andorra with many picturesque ski resorts. There are about 200 kilometers of ski runs and 35 kilometers of cross country trails. Grandvillara excels in beauty and is very enjoyable to just be in these magnificent surroundings and take advantage of the fantastic climate. The area is particularly suitable for beginners and average skiers.
