Hippach is located in the Zillertal, in addition to the better known villages Mayrhofen, Ramsau and Schwendau. The three villages have grown together, and are now part of the ski area Zillertal 3000. Through a big lift direction Horberg you can get to the slopes of the rest of the skiing area that have perfect snow reports throughout the year. Hippach is a charming village, with all facilities, shops and conviviality that suits a small ski holiday destination.

Zillertal offers more than 600 kilometers of groomed slopes and about 150 lifts! The broad valley offers excellent hiking and cross country, while the surrounding mountains are totally covered with lifts. Not all ski areas in the Zillertal are connected to one another. Zillertal is divided into 3 smaller ski areas, within those smaller ski areas all routes are connected to each other. These are the ski areas: Zillertal Arena, Ski Zillertal 3000 and Hochillertal.

Slightly less intense as the big brother Mayrhofen, in Hippach there also are enough cafes and restaurants to choose from. The most populair bar is Pink Panther, one of the best cafes of the village, and the Yeti Schirm Bar directly down at the ski slope is fantastic.
