In the Tyroler Oberland, one of the top skiing areas of Europe, is the ski resort Imst-Gurgltal. Imst-Gurgltal despite its small ski area has the facilities of an absolute winner! Through the touring (ski safari!) and off piste to go around mountains such as the Muttekopf (2774 m) and the Venet (2400m), there is challenge enough! With skating, toboggan runs, and beautiful winter wonderland walks, there is still a lot to do in terms of sporting activities besides the skiing and snowboarding that is possible here.

The diversity in restaurants and cafes is enormous, and the atmosphere in Imst is unique because of this! The Schirmbar Hoch-Imst is an absolute must from early in the afternoon till end of the day. (see also the pictures: schirmbar-hochimst.at)
