Kartitsch is a small and picturesque ski holiday village in the Tyrolean Gailtal (Eastern Tyrol), near Italy. The whole winter you are assured of good snow reports and sun in this ski resort. It is an ideal ski destination for the novice skier. The ski area is small, so that the same descents can be practiced a bit. There is also some great cross-country skiing for beginners and advanced.

East-Tirol offers the pure enjoyment of the beautiful landscapes. All in all it is a lot smaller than Tirol, but there are certainly plenty of skiing activities. In total there are about 80 kilometers of ski slopes and 50 kilometers of cross-country tracks.

Kartitsch has no real nightlife. You can visit the nearby villages St. Oswald and Sillian. There are a few pubs in the village where you can find fun. In the five hotels in Kartitsch you will also find the restaurants.
