The magnificent mountain top is the jewel of the Kaunertal. The Weisseespitze (the top of the glacier) belongs to one of the most beautiful mountains in the world. The views of this enormous mountain are also used in many promotion films. The landscape around this glacier is indescribably beautiful! On the Kaunertal Glacier you can go up with a dozen ski lifts to different heights, and then descend on to the fantastic wide slopes. Snowboarders can enjoy the beautiful and fun park and the well-groomed halfpipe.

The Kaunertal glacier ski area and the Fendels ski resort are part of the same ski pas. Every thursday there is night skiing on the Kaunertaler glacier with both a 2.5 km long ski run as a 4.5 km long toboggan which are both lit. There are three major ski resorts in the Oberinntal: - Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis - KAUNERTAL - Venet Region The ski pass 6 (Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis, Venet, Nauders, Fendels and Kaunertal) is fantastic for those who would like to enjoy the ski slopes throughout Oberinntal.
