The ski holiday village Maurach-Eben lies in the ski resort Achensee in the region Tyrol. Just like the other villages in Achensee, Maurach is excellent. The hiking and walking trails are beautifully maintained and the cross-country runs here are always perfect. The atmosphere is authentic in Maurach. There is a babyslope and playground around the ski lifts just for children.

Most slopes in the region are suitable for beginners to advanced skiers. The easy descents are in the ski area around Pertisau. There is also a nice off-piste section and there is a Buckelpiste. The Achensee ski resort has three major ski area sectors: the ski slopes at Christlum, the descents at the Zwöllerkopf and the ski area around Rofan.

Maurach has small cozy venues for apres-ski, but no wild partying will be found here.
