Mieders lies at the beginning of the Stubaital (Stubaier Alps). Small, yet truly original Austrian village, mostly suitable for beginners and families with small children. Mieders has a small private ski area that extends to about 2000 meters. If you want to go a little higher, you can go to the Stubai glacier, where you can enjoy your skiing holiday the year round. This is about half an hour driving by car. Mieders has everything you need to have a quiet ski holiday. Several larger villages and ski resorts are within an hour reach. For cross-country skiers Mieders is also very suitable, with cross-country trails of more than 40 kilometers.
