The ski resort Nauders is located in the Tyroler Oberland (Oberinntal), near the Italian and Swiss border. Nauders is situated in the Reschenpass ski area and is a ski resort with great history. The first settlement in this village dates from the Roman era. Until this day, modern builings are not allowed to be build, to preserve the romantic centre. The snow conditions in this area are fantastic. Through the good facilities for children, this ski resort is also very popular with families. The most important and biggest ski resort in this region is that of Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis with 185 kilometers of slopes. Waiting at the lift is not necessary, since 70,000 people can go up per hour in Serfaus. There are three major ski resorts in the Oberinntal: Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis (by far largest) , Kaunertal and the Venet Region. The 6 ski pass (Serfaus-fiss-Ladis, Venet, Nauders, Fendels and Kaunertal) is a great choice for people who would like to enjoy all the ski slopes throughout the Oberinntal.

Snowboarden in Nauders

For snowboarders and freeriders there is enough to enjoy in Serfaus, Fiss and Ladis. There are two large funparks and boardercrosses. Many nice events are organized by the local boarderclub.
