About Pitztal

When mentioning Pitztal, most ski enthusiasts think of Alpine skiing. Piztal is therefore a popular ski resort with young people. On both sides of the 40-kilometre-long road through Pitztal, are the four picturesque villages Pitztal - Arzl, Pitztal - Jerzens, Pitztal - St. Leonhard and Pitztal - Wenns. The motto of the four villages reads: In harmony with nature. This is also noticeable in tourism management. Therefore the area remained fairly small. It consists of 3 Pitztal good ski areas: Pitztaler Gletscher, Rifflsee and Hochzeiger. The first two are accessible from St. Leonhard im Pitztal. Hochzeiger is located in the sunny village of Jerzens.

Snowboarding Pitztal

In Pitztal there is plenty to do for snowboarders. No less than 4 funparks can be found in the valley!

Skischools Pitztal

There are two ski schools in the Pitztal. The first is in Hochzeiger and the second at the Pitztaler Glacier.
