Ski-holidays Sandl

Reviews in Sandl

The ski holiday village Sandl lies in the ski resort Mühlviertel in the region Upper Austria. Sandl is extremely suitable as a ski resort for the whole family. In Sandl there are very good facilities for the children. Just to mention one thing, children under 6 years are skiing here for free! Three ski lifts bring you up to over 1100 metres altitude on the Viehberg, where you can enjoy the ski slopes with the whole family.

Actually, each village has its own small ski resort in this region. Bad Leonfelden has the ski area around the Sternstein Lifte, with about 10km of slopes. Sandl also offers approximately 5 km slopes, the ski area of Sandl / Viehberg (with 2 small lifts). The ski area of Hochficht is the largest of these three villages and offers approximately 20km of slopes.

Sandl has a modest apres-ski.

Snowboarden in Sandl

In Hochficht there is a small snow-park down in the village. Thanks to some snow cannons, there snow always stays in this area. The offpiste possibilities are more limited in this area, but for the novice snowboarder there is plenty to learn.
