The ski holiday village Schwarzenberg lies in the ski resort Bregenzer Forest in the Vorarlberg region. Schwarzenberg is, one of the smaller ski areas in Austria. It has its own skiing area (Bödele) with 25 kilometers of ski slopes as well as a world cup ski run. Because of the relatively low location, the snow reports are sometimes somewhat uneven.

The structured ski area makes Bregenzer Wald, the most suitable for families with small children.
