The ski area Stubaier Alps is located in the Tirol region in Austria. The area is formed by the ski resorts Fulpmes, Mieders, Neustift, Gries am Brenner, Steinach and Stubai. The ski area of Stubaier Alps is best known for its children driven facilities and the many hiking trails. The most challenging slopes are around the Stubaier Glacier. The après-ski in this area is generally modest at best. It's just a very pleasant ski area for a quiet family holiday.

Snowboarders are especially into this area to carve beautiful turns on the broad quiet slopes. In total there are 2 halfpipes, 2 boardercrosses and 2 fun parks in the Stubaier Alps. Maybe you would not expect it, but some of Austrian best snowboard champs come from this area.
