For visitors who wish to travel to Marmot Basin, the nearest airport is Edmonton,(approximately 3 hours drive). Calgary is also less than a day away (about 6 hours).

Snowboarding Marmot Basin

For snowboarders, there is the Rogers Marmot Basin Terrain park (fun park) near the Basin ski run. The park has a number of fun obstacles and modules for freestyle boarders.

Skischools Marmot Basin

Ski and snowboard lessons in Marmot Basin can be taken in the Jasper Snow Sports School. Beginners can quietly enjoy their first lessons on the safe and Friendly Marmot Mountain - a kind of baby slope specially fitted for new skiers and snowboarders. In addition to the regular program per week, day, day or hour, there are also special classes to take in the Marmot Kids Day Camp, a combination of ski & snowboard lessons and other activities for children, and the Terrain Park Skills Program, where you get full-day training at the Funpark.
