The ski slopes are the official venue for the downhill ski and snowboard events of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games in Vancouver in 2010. The Whistler Black Comb Nintendo Terrain Parks have a total of 8 different funparks, so you can visit another funpark area almost every day, and meanwhile enjoy the surrounding powder snow! On mount Whistler there is the Habitat Terrain Park, which is divided into two different levels. Around and on the Black Comb Mountain, you have the Terrain Garden for beginner-level freestyle boarders, the Nintendo Terrain Park, the so-called Super Pipe?, the Snow Cross Track (now an Olympic freestyle discipline), the Summer Glacier Terrain Park and The Highest Level (for the top pro's). The Whistler Black Comb Ski & Snowboard School offers a variety of classes for young and old. You can take private lessons and choose a group to for beginner, advanced or expert level. For kids, there are ski camps, and the resort also features a course with an entire week of free ride lessons in one of the many fun parks!
