The ski resort area Yllas is located in the national park of Yllas Aakenus, in Finnish Lapland. The Ski area of Ylläs is located far above the boundary of the Arctic Circle and includes the villages Äkaslompolo and Yllasjärvi. Winter sports here do not just include alpine and cross-country skiing! What do you think about snowmobiles, or dog sled tours, for example? The Ylläs Mountains have beautiful views and are also nice for a walk. Once a day with your snowshoes on, walk the trails and enjoy the winter wonderlands. The Sauna is not forgotten in Yllas!
