One of the 4 ski holiday villages in the ski resort Le Grand Serre Chevalier is Villeneuve la Salle (Serre Che 1400). Villeneuve, actually includes 3 villages itself Pre Long (here you will find the Tourist Office and a number skishops), Aravet (here is the halfpipe, a number of shops, restaurants & bars) as well as the old village. Within the ski resort 'Serre Che' / Villeneuve has the best access to the skiing area through an extensive ski lifts network.

Serre Che is one of the top skiing destinations in France. With peaks above 2800 m, more than 250 km of slopes and fabulous off-piste opportunities around the Meije, this area also challenges the experienced skier. The off-piste descent 'Guibertes' is a tip for skiing or snowboarding cracks. The long runs around the tree lines for both beginners, advanced as well as absolute experts offer a week full of challenging skiing!
