The ski area Monte Rosa is located in the Valle d'Aosta in Piemonte. The beautiful and massive mountains of Monta Rosa are right on the Swiss - Italian border. The area includes the ski resorts Alagna Valsesia, Gressoney and Champoluc. The giant Monta Rosa massif is a ski holiday resort for families with excellent facilities. The ten peaks of this area are all above the 4000 meters. Down in the valleys of the Monta Rosa hills, there are over 180 km of perfectly maintained ski runs.
