The ski resort Obereggen is located in Val di Fiemme-Fleimstal in South Tyrol in Italy. Because Obereggen actually is a subvalley of the area, the valley is also known as Eggental. The village consists of fine accommodations with a good connection to the ski resort Latemar. This Latemar Ski Center is not only known for its 50 kilometers of alpine slopes, but also as one of the favourites in Italy for cross country skiing. The Cross-Country skiing centre Lago di Tesero hosted already several championships and World Cup.

The ski area of Fleimstal is formed by the two ski centers of Latemar and Alpe Cermis. Most ski runs are easy to intermediate. The whole ski area is remarkably well maintained and spacious. Most days it is possible to ski directly from the hotel to the piste. Furthermore, the Fleimstal is known for the 150 km Olympic tracks.
