Reviews in Sexten-Sesto

Ski village Sexten (Sesto) is located in the Hochpustertal (Alteria Pusteria) in Italy. Sexten-Sesto is a small hamlet with a beautiful authentic village-center. The ski area of Sexten is called Skisport Sesto San Candido - Sesto - Dobbiaco (Innichen-Sexten-Toblach) and is certainly worthwhile. The best ski slopes are actually around Sexten / Sesto itself. With more than 50km ski slopes which are sometimes linked by bus, you will certainly not be bored here for even a day. We recommend to spend at least a day in each of the three resorts to enjoy the distinct ski slopes and cabins on the mountain. If you like to make a trip to the ski resorts of Bruneck or Cortina, these are little more than 20 minutes away and are easy to reach.

The Hochpustertal in the North of the Dolomites is particularly popular with Cross-Country skiers. There are more than 200 km of superb cross-country trails. Nevertheless, the smaller ski area is definitely not less interesting. There are beautiful wide slopes, which give novice skiers all the space they need. For alpine skiers and snowboarders in the Hochpustertal everything revolves around the 2400 m high mountain Thurntaler. The Thurntaler offers numerous descents.
