The ski resort St. Ulrich-Ortisei is located in the ski area Val Gardena in the Italian Dolomites. Ortisei is very lively. There is a lot to do besides skiing. Ortisei is a little bit further away from the ski area and the lifts, but the atmosphere in the centre makes up for that. The centre is partly free of traffic and is very popular as a place for tourists in Val Gardena. Especially families with children find their way to Ortisei, but also for young people there is certainly enough to do here. There is a bus that can bring you to one of the other villages in the valley.
