Fagerasen village is located in the ski area Trysil in Norway. Fagerasen is the highest located ski resort of the Trysilfjell mountain, near the neighboring village Trysilfjellet. Because of this location, Fagerasen is the most snow secure ski resort in Norway. The facilities are slightly less extensive than in Trysilfjellet but Fagerasen has its own shops, ski rental, bars and restaurants. To speak in their own local words, Fagerasen is a "Winter Dream"!

The ski area offers slopes at all levels. The simplest slopes are on the low end of the ski area. Over there between the forestation, most slopes are green and blue. Higher, up the Trysilfjell, the the slopes are more difficult. The great advantage in Trysil is the fact that there are almost never any queues at the lifts.

There is a ski school on the other side of the mountain in Trysil, with 60 ski instructors. In the skiing season it has its own dependence in Fagerasen. Obviously, besides skiing lessons, you can learn how to snowboard and cross-country ski and all teachers speak perfect English.
