About Karpacz-Kopa

Karpacz-Kopa Ski Area is located in the Sudety Mountains in Poland. The close location to the Czech Republic border makes the well-known Czech ski resorts such as Splinderuv Mlyn and Pec Pod Snezkou within a few hours driving distance. Karpacz-Kopa is a family-fun ski area with a charming village center. In addition to ski and snowboard facilities, Karpacz has a metal tobogganing run on the slope of the Kolowara which is open 365 days a year. With a length of more than one kilometer and maximum sleighing-speed of 40km per hour - this is definitely a must! The village of Karpacz has a annual downhill sleighing competition, which lets people participate using a fantasy sleigh that they have built themselves down the slopes of Karpacz. This event is often broadcasted on TV, too.

Snowboarding Karpacz-Kopa

For snowboarders there are a number of downhill slopes to enjoy with nice carving (snowboard competitions are held here regularly). Do not expect great freestyle snowboard possibilities however.

Skischools Karpacz-Kopa

You can follow both ski and snowboard lessons on the ski slopes of Kopa and Miasto.
