About La Molina

The La Molina ski area is located in the Spanish Pyrenees, close to the French border. As one of the oldest ski resorts in Spain, La Molina has often been the first in introducing new winter sports facilities in Spain. The first ski lift in Spain, one of the first to introduce snow cannons (snow reports are thus always perfect) and the first major chairlift. La Molina always had a very innovative image in the Spanish skiing scene. Besides the beautiful facilities, La Molina has a charming small city-centre that can be easily reached, even by train.

Snowboarding La Molina

Snowboarders have a small snowpark in La Molina, but this will expand in the coming years, with thanks to the 2011 Snowboarding World Cup which will take place in La Molina.
