About Abisko

Abisko is located in Lapland in the most northern part of Sweden. Located one hour drive north from Kiruna (where the airport is), Abisko is one of the places where you have the best view on the Northern Lights. Abisko is a great choice for a unique ski vacation or winter holiday. The groomed ski slopes here are limited to a few kilometers of cross-country trails and a large off-piste area, but there is enough to see and do! An absolute must is spending a night in the Aurora Sky Station, a special place that is designed as a place for observing and understanding the Northern Light (Aurora Borealis). As the locals call it, here you see space meeting earth!
