The Swedish ski village Hundfjället is part of the large ski area of Sälen, which also includes the villages Lindvallen, Högfjället and Tandådalen. The ski area of Hundfjället is very varied. You'll find all sorts of different levels of tracks, a fun park and a park for kids. Hundfjället is linked to the area of Tandådalen and it takes about 15 minutes to go there with ski lifts. If you have a ski pass for Hundfjället, the area of Tandådalen is automatically included. You can also buy a ski pass for the entire area of SkiStar Sälen, which gives you access to the slopes of Högfjället and Lindvallen.

The Sälen Ski Arena offers more than 145 km of ski runs and 300 kilometers of cross-country runs. This all is unlocked by 100 lifts and supported by 80 snow cannons. Most of the ski area is part of Skistar Sälen and has 115 slopes and 85 ski lifts. Besides the villages connected by Skistar, Sälen there are also separate ski areas: Kläppen (32 runs), Nässfjället (11 runs) and Stöten (30 runs).

For snowboarders there are 2 snowparks in Kläppen. In Stöten i Sälen there is a small funpark with a number of modules, including a Big Air Bag.

In Hundfjället you can take ski lessons all season from Monday to Thursday. The classes last approximately 1.5 hours per day and for kids all sorts of fun activities are being organized. There is also the possibility to take private lessons. This takes about an hour.
