Central among the beautiful mountain landscape are varied and diverse slopes, there are several snowboard parks and cross-country trails at high altitude. The ski slopes in this area are spread over two ski areas. The area around Adelboden-Frutigen has the following slopes: Silleren-Hahnenmoos, Chuenisbärgli, Tschentenalp, Engstligenalp, and Elsigen-Metsch. The World Cup run at Chuenisbärgli is a major challenge for advanced skiers. The second part of this ski area, Simmental-Lenk, includes the ski slopes of Metsch and Betelberg.
