About Berner Jura

The Berner Jura lies in the Swiss part of the Jura, on the extreme east side of the ridges of the Jura. This region is situated precisely in the middle between Bern and Besancon (France). Although the ski resort area attracts many families, it is primarily a holiday for cross-country skiers and nature-lovers. The villages in this area are very small, with the most well-known being Les Pres d'Orvin.

Snowboarding Berner Jura

For snowboarders, opportunities are limited in this area. If you are putting your board on for the first time, the local snowboard school course can teach you the tricks, but you will probably need a day trip to another nearby ski resort by the end of the week.

Skischools Berner Jura

There are two ski schools in the skiing area, the Ecole de Ski et Snowboard Des Amis de la Nature (the name focuses on the beautiful surroundings) and the Ecole de Ski et Snowboard Suisse.
