About Braunwald-Elm

The ski resort Braunwald-Elm is located in eastern Switzerland in the Glarnerland. Both villages (Braunwald & Elm) are separated by the enormous (almost 2,800 meters high) Kärpf. Elm is the decor of most ski slopes, and the village has a beautiful authentic charm that it managed to maintain through the ages. A beautiful, old, gothic church here appears to be in the spotlight from the sun the whole day. The unique formation of the surrounding mountains arranges for very special sun rays that split through the village.

Snowboarding Braunwald-Elm

The slopes at Elm are very diverse, and offer enough challenge for advanced skiers especially. The Slalom and Super-G races for professional skiers in Elm even occasionally host a World Cup race. The sled competitions in Braunwald are notorious!

There are three ski schools in the region, with a total of approximately 25 ski instructors.
