About Einsiedeln

Einsiedeln lies in central Switzerland and is located between Lake Lucerne and Lake Zurich. The ski resort Einsiedeln consists of the village of the same name, and the villages Bennau, Willerzell, Egg, Euthal, Gross, and Trachslau. The area borders Rothenthurm and the valley in the direction of Alpthal and Ybrig. The Einsiedeln area is known as a pilgrimage because of the black Madonna, a Maria statue in the beautiful Benedictine monastery in the village.

The ski school of the region Einsiedeln / Brunni / Sattelegg has 10 ski instructors, who also give lessons to beginners in cross-country skiing. The Ybrig ski school, which is located close to the ski slopes, is the oldest of Switzerland!
