Ski-holidays Leysin
Reviews in Leysin
Ski holiday destination Leysin is a fantastic ski resort in Waadt in the region Freiburgerland close to the town of Montreux. The Leysin ski resort stretches mainly from around the village Leysin, and Les Mosses. Leysin has an old section with beautiful chalets and a newly build area where most ski lifts start. If you take any one of those ski lifts up the mountain, the view is almost equally spectacular. Imagine a view around Lake Geneva with Mont-Blanc on your right and the Eiger and the Matterhorn on your left, even in the distance the Jura is still recognisable. The Leysin ski resort stands on its own, but you can easyly take one-day skiing on the nearby slopes of Les Diablerets, Villars-Gryon or even Gstaad.
Pisteinformatie Leysin - Leysin
Ski slopes in Leysin are versatile and especially challenging for beginners and semi-advanced skiers. There are really challenging black runs in this ski resort, and other great runs as well as facilities for the many snowboarders in this section of the Swiss Alps.
Apresski in Leysin
The apres-ski in Leysin is not enormous, but has a wide choice of restaurants and some nice cafes. The discotheque in Leysin looks more like a French nightclub, and therefore expect no corny apres-ski but ordinary top40-like music.
Snowboarden in Leysin
There is a lot of great snowboarding in this area, including the beautiful halfpipe, the great fun park and a number of challenging off-piste runs.
