The ski area Saastal lies in Valais in Switzerland. In addition to the well-known skiing holiday destination Saas-Fee, this area also includes the skiing villages of Saas-Grund, Saas-Almagell, and the smaller Saas-Balen. The various villages in this area have a car-free city center and this adds to the nice appearance of the charming streets that have bars, terraces, and shops. Public transportation is good, so you won't get tired of walking. There is a ski bus to get to the other villages of the Saastal easily. Should you decide to have a day without skiing, walking in this area is both relaxing and breath-taking. Few parts of Switzerland have such natural beauty.

Snowboarding Saastal

Especially in the ski resort Saas-Fee, snowboarders can go all the way, with the snow park, Mittel, and a huge variety in off-piste and snow powder possibilities! Because of the many snow-making machines around this boarder park, there is enough snow, even in the off-season to go snowboarding in the Saastal.

Skischools Saastal

The ski resort Saas-Fee / Saastal alone already has four snowboard schools with more than 35 snowboard instructors. The ski schools in the area are also huge with two ski schools in Saas-Fee (60 ski instructors), 20 ski instructors in Saas-Almagell, and 15 ski instructors in Saas-Grund. This is a well-equipped ski resort!
