Schwarsee is a small ski resort near Freiburg in the area Freiburgerland and easily accessible through Bern. Schwarsee-Senseland, how the resort is also known. The ski area spreads out around the slopes of the Kaiseregg. There are about 15 kilometers beautiful broad ski slopes. This is why this area is especially popular with families. The resort is also known for its ice sculpture contest, and the variety of opportunities like tobogganing, and ice skating (!).

This ski area has a lot of wide, uncrowded slopes. It is ideal for beginners and semi-advanced skiers. Schwarzsee in particular has some of the finest slopes in Switzerland. The surroundings of Moleson-sur-Gruyères offer many different possibilities for snow sports, including skiing, snowboarding, toboggan runs, and beautiful walking paths through a winter wonderland.

There are not a lot of apres-ski facilities in Schwarzsee, with some restaurants in the village and a few cafes, the options are limited. Especially the mountain restaurant Bärghuus Riggisalp is very nice.
