About Toggenburg

The ski resort Toggenburg lies in eastern Switzerland near the border with Luxembourg. The area is located across the Säntis Massiv on the seven peaks of Churfirsten (The Selun, Frümsel, Brisi, Zuestoll, Schibenstoll, Hinterrugg, and Chäserrugg), all over 2,200 meters high. The fairly large ski area is particularly popular with families with children and includes the ski holiday villages of Alt St. Johann, Ebnat-Kappel, Unterwasser, and Wildhaus. It is not hard to see why Toggenburg is so popular with families, with ample entertainment for kids and so much to do in the different villages, including open-air theater performances, various trips, and sledding evenings. Your children will enjoy it here greatly!

Snowboarding Toggenburg

There are many small obstacles in the two fun parks at Toggenburg. The fun park at Wildhaus (Snowland.ch) is the largest and also has a quarterpipe, halfpipe, and a great boarder cross.

Skischools Toggenburg

Each small skiing destination village in the area has its own small ski school, including the Schneesportschule Wildhaus (skischule-wildhaus.ch), the Schneeesportschule Unterwasser (sssuw.ch), and the Schneesportschule Alt St. Johann (schneesportschule-altstjohann.ch.) In total, the region has about 65 ski instructors!
