About Valle Levantina

The ski resort Valle Levantina is located in the Italian-speaking part of Switzerland, Ticino. In this ski holiday destination, the winter fun is centered around the village of Airolo, at the foot of the Gotthard Tunnel. You can ski downhill, snowboard, or even cross-country ski on the flanks of the Mezzogiorno Pizzo (higher than 2,500 meters.)

Snowboarding Valle Levantina

The small YUKI snow park is well-known in the area and has a variety of modules and jumps. In addition, there are two very large jumps that are popular with snowboarders.

Skischools Valle Levantina

The ski school, La Scuola di Sci Svizzera e Snowboard Airolo, has been operating since 1960 and has seven ski instructors. One of the ski instructors who is still active as president of the school is 93-year-old Bruno Bonomi!, He has more than 70 years of service at the ski area! (See photo.)
